How to Make a Shandy (Beer Panaché)

The Shandy, or Beer Panaché as it is known in France, brings two great things together: beer and lemonade. Rather than making the beer sweeter, this drink is really about making the lemonade drier. Or so says, Jeffrey Morgenthaler.

1 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

1 - 1 1/2 oz 1:1 simple syrup

4 oz of water, preferably sparkling

Beer - Lager works best


Build in a Pilsner glass.
