Farmer’s Daughter Cocktail
By Charlotte Voisey
Perfect any time of year, the Farmer's Daughter plays off the indigenous American flavors of Lebkuchen, or German ginger snap, inherent in SNAP. Serve this drink cold in summer and ht in the winter. You can mix up one or two or an entire bowl for a big party.

This looks very ,very refreshing but, I bet it’s a better cold weather drink than a warm weather punch. I will go to my favorite MICHIGAN Cider Mill on a cold Oct / Nov morning, purchase a quart or two of fresh squeezed HONEY CRISP CIDER, A bag of fresh apples and go home and whip this up. It WILL be delicious !!!
Until now,I’ve never heard of SNAP.
She’s done two drinks recently using spirits from Art in the Age. Probably sponsored, but I don’t mind. They both sound delicious, and the guys at AITA seem fully legit. If I can find somewhere to buy ROOT or SNAP, I’m going to try these ASAP. Charlotte hasn’t led me astray yet, so I trust these will be wonderful as well.
Yeah, I wonder about the value of possibly buying an expensive bottle that maybe we like and will use -or not !! I’ll take a risk but, some of the recipes in here (not so much Charlotte) are out of site. I would love to try some but the cost vs. time and prep. are just not worth it to me.
The SNAP sounds very intriguing and I live in MI so don’t have a real hard time finding the “goods” at some better wine & Bev.stores.,Good luck and if you do try these ,let me know and I’ll do the same.
I do know ( Now) these are not available in Michigan so I will have to order them on line somewhere. I thought they would be readily available as I don’t have a lot of trouble finding things. So much for that. Anyone have a site they know of that carries them ?
