Three Mixologists, Three Cocktails, Three Ways - French 75 Cocktail

In 2011, Jamie joined Liquid Kitchen host, Kathy Casey and Portfolio Ambassador for William Grant and Sons, Charlotte Voisey for a unique and entertaining seminar during Manhattan Cocktail Classic. This seminar, sponsored by Hudson Whiskey, Hendrick’s Gin and Milagro Tequila, led attendees through the thought process that these three mixologists go through when creating a cocktail. In this episode, they tackle the French 75 Cocktail. You can watch Kathy make her variation, the Citrus 75, here.

Some really colorful characters in the audience!
I particularly like the lush @ 6:38 taking his/her French 75 vertical in front of the camera, and the expletive @ 7:08!

Hello Jamie,
A great series on the different rifs on classics, this being my favourite. Two questions. Firstly the recipie of your French 5625 available anywhere? We will be getting a Perlini system sometime next week, Im told one of the first in europe, and apart from anticipating using it on our aged negronis, your rendition of the French 75 looks like its a must to try. Secondly, not in this video, but in several others you use a small three part shaker, from the Cocktail Kingdom Im told, and as I am considering ordering several just like it, for small and single cockatils as th boston is simply often too large, I wanted to ask if you use the 500 ml version or the 360 ml version? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you once again and congratualtions on the great videos, you certainly have a cult, albeit small, following here in Poland and we anticipate future instalments.
