Jack Rose Cocktail

Excellent Cocktail. But too tart with the 4:2:1 ratio, the limes in Ghana then to be very sour, So tried the 4:1:1 ratio with Calvados which was excellent and well blanced, thanks it really is a great cocktail.

Just tried this and it blew me away (really) did not want to buy caahaca for a single drink so used barcadi white and it was excellent like a rustic daquiri meets a tom collins, and so beautiful to look at. I am certianly making more.

Am getting tired of buying products which are inferior, did that with Bols triple sec only to find contrieau was far superior now am stuck with large bottle of triple sec which I do not know what do with (maybe bake a cake with) so do I need to get an orange curacao if I have Grand Manier?
Manhattan Cocktail - Stirred vs. Shaken

Finally found Angostura Bitters in Ghana and tried my hand at a Manhattan but was dissapointed I found it a bit too sweet and not so well balanced may be it was my fault never understoud a dash. But the night was saved with a Fernet Branca which I found used it to make a hanky panky. Would try again tomorrow, but would try to decrease the sweet vermouth and increase the bitters.

I live in Ghana and Its not easy getting drinks but Just got a bottle of creme de cassis (Hallelujah) and I love the stuff its excellent with rum, wish the were more cocktails for it, tried a “cassiman” which has a similar taste profile to a manhatten 3parts Bourbon, 1 dry vremouth, 1 creme de cassis. an excellent fruity manhatten.
Dry Martini Cocktail

Was this video to show us how not to make a martini.
The cloudy concoction was certainly not a martini, and I disagree on the olive it balances the drink and makes it unique, its the only cocktail which I belive is prefect, the crisp gin the fragurant vermouth the savory olive, like beethoven 9th the individual movements jar the senses but together absolutely sublime its not vivaldi 4 seasons.
