I’ve been making a nearly identical with a tsp of maraschino liqueur (stirred in) in place of the Benedictine. It’s amazing how every time I think I’ve come up with a good simple variation on a classic cocktail there always seems to one very similar already.

I’ll have to try it this way.
The best version I’ve ever made with all four equal parts uses fresh blood orange juice (in season) and Aberlour 12.

I’d love to try this. What are the Creole bitters like? How do the Bitter Truth orange and celery bitters differ from Fee Bros. Bitters?

I was also happy to see that I have that same set of cocktail glasses.

I realized as soon as I posted it that I’ve never knowingly had Fee Bros. orange bitters either. I use Regan’s No. 6 at home.
